The UPLB Street Jazz Dance Company is duly recognized varsity dance troupe of the Department of Human Kinetics at the University of the Philippines, Los Baņos.
The group was established in 1998 by P.E. students who wanted to dig deeper their passion in the field of dancing and tagged the group as UPLB Street Jazz. Up to the present, the group performs in different activities in and out of the campus and has joined national competitions such as Green Cross Funky Fragrance Dance Competition and SOP's Campus Front Act at GMA Channel 7.
The first minor concert of the group was held on December 11, 2003 and was followed by a major concert on January 27, 2005.
Also, in sharing the passion and talent in dancing, the group also conducts dance workshops for both high school and college students.
Through these, the varsity had established a reputable name in and outside the university.
